Only one leaseholder (land owner?) is listed. According to lease records this land was initially leased out to Widow Maloney in 1816 for a period of 31 years or life. Why does this townland appear listed here instead of listed with the parish records for Kilnarath? The only explanation I can determine is that it was difficult getting to Knockacappul from inside Kilnarath. Mountains made traveling difficult. It was easier traveling to Knockacappul via Kilvolane.
