![]() Waiting for the Lakeside Brewery tour. Only tour in America where you drink while you tour...and the tour guide is required to drink as well. |
![]() Mike and Elizabeth. One of the best brewery tours I've ever taken. Tour guide was excellent...and funny. |

Milwaukee, Wisconsin We decided to drive to Milwaukee, which for us took less than 14 hours (with gas and lunch/dinner break included). This included taking 294 around downtown Chicago. Milwaukee is definitely a "college town", and has the feel of a small town...little traffic congestion...etc. I can see why Mike likes living there. The museum is great, we went to a TGIF Fridays at Miller Stadium, and found some great places to eat and visit. Hoboken, New Jersey On the way to the city, some friends of ours wanted to see Carlos Bake Shop (apparently he is on the Food Channel). There was a long line to get into the place (several blocks long)...and if you look in the window...you can see some of this crowd. |

![]() We had new countertops installed several months ago. I took the old tiles off the wall (they were green as some of you may recall), and resurfaced the walls as seen here. |
![]() This shows the tile patterns we installed. While I had applied a caulk between the bottom tiles and counter-top, I removed it and will be applying a more correct color caulk. |
![]() This color is more reflective of the color patterns. It took me awhile to finish, but it does look good...if I say so myself. October 2010 project. |
