Laurel and I went to church last night and later took pictures of our home on Christmas Eve.  Obviously, the best looking pictures were taken by the birds (Tweeky and Mango).  This year Laurel and I used LCD lights for the tree.  They certainly made the tree more festive looking than the clear lights we have been using for years.  Crystal decorations took on a new glow with the yellow, blue, red and green twinkling lights.   For those of you who remember, Laurel and I did put the Festivus pole up again this year!

According to tradition, animals speak on Christmas Eve.  Tweeky blabbed all night, while Mango stared out into space.  Two pictures I sent show the birds enjoying their Christmas Eve millet.  One picture shows Tweeky by himself in his full glory (or gory as I tell Laurel).  In addition, I sent pictures of our Christmas tree.  It is not big and splashy like the "Irish" John Smith tree in South Dakota, but suits our needs just fine.  We think it is just as pretty.  Finally, I sent you our annual Christmas family picture.  Laurel looks forward to this moment each year. :^)

Anyway, Merry Christmas to you all and have a great New Years!
