It was 40 degrees, but in the sun it actually felt somewhat warm.
China Town is along major roads such as Mulberry, Mott, Bowery and...yes, even
Hester Street. Hester Street is the approximate boundary between
China Town and Little Italy. Its been
estimated that 200,000 people were along the parade route, and approximately
3,000 people were in the parade itself - the Lions, Chamber of Commerce, the
Legion, Girl Scouts, and so many more groups marching down Bowery, Mott and
Canal Streets.
