Bruce Jacobsen writes:
My Niece, Josie Kramer, Pat's daughter, an experienced stair climber, has announced her entry to participate in this event. She has previously very successfully participated in the Hustle up the Hancock event, a couple of times.
The following
is for your information. I'm not going to climb 2,109 steps.
Registration
for Go Vertical
Chicago, the world’s longest indoor stair climb, is now
open! Sign
up to be one of the daring climbers who will ascend the
famous
Sears Tower by foot on November 9th, 2008.
Entry is strictly limited to the first 2250 registrants.
Come and join participants of all ages and nationalities to climb the building’s 2,109 steps, 103 floors and 1,353 vertical feet. At the top, you’ll be welcomed by the best view in Chicago from the Sears Tower Skydeck. It’s all in support of cutting-edge cancer research - by young scientists who dare to try to overcome a disease that will touch one in four Americans.
