A Vacation Out West solved one of our "Top 5"

  Five years ago, Tim and I built a list reflecting "our top five family mysteries"; and over the past few years we solved four...but always thought that the fifth would never be solved.  As Tim would say, "Most likely Michael (my son) would be the one to solve the fifth and final family secret."

Well...I guess one should "never say never."

About a month ago, Tim found this article in the Madison, Wisconsin, newspaper archives; and like a key provided us additional clues to the answer we were seeking.   in a few days we will publish our findings (articles, photos, stories), and will create a new chapter in sorting out our family heritage.
