The artists had tried for over 20 years to do something extraordinary in New York's Central Park.  They had created large art displays, such as this, in Europe and Asia.  As the artists noted, "it means nothing and there are no hidden messages."  It is a piece of work with miles of saffron "gates" that are quite extraordinary to walk through.  The coloration was spectacular against the drabness of late winter, and is what makes these pictures so dramatic.
