This was taken in the large entryway at the National WWII Museum.  This is one of the more interesting museums I've been to, and recommend highly.  Click to Enlarge.

Propaganda to make the "Japs" non-human during the War.  Click to Enlarge.

More propaganda...make the sub-human.  These images were familiar to us even in the 50s and 60s.  Click to Enlarge.

Two things of interest.  The road sign was shot near Aberdeen SD during WWII.  Below is the booklet that held stamps for Savings Bonds.  Boy, that brings back memories.  Click to Enlarge.

WWII rationing.  You were given gas credits based on the type of job you had, e.g., you received more if you were a traveling salesman.  I found it interesting in that Dad for the Office of Price Stabalization until 1954 in Sioux Falls.  Click to Enlarge.

The axis of evil, Nazi Germany, Italy and Japan.  Click to Enlarge.

The Phillipines engagement.  Recently V.J. asked about "Leyte" - it was one of the more deadly engagements during the re-taking of the Islands.  Click to Enlarge.
