New York City in February '08
Just leaving Columbus Circle (subway station on southeastern edge of Central Park). From here we walked to the Museum of Natural History.
It took us "forever" to get here from Newark, New Jersey. We decided to use the "PATH" but it was a weekend schedule and we found it very inconvenient to get to Mid town New York City.
Cashing in our tickets at Dave & Busters in Times Square. This is a "Chucky Cheese for adults." Kate is in the foreground waiting to redeem her tickets.
The front of the museum. It was a fairly mild day for February - 40 degrees. In front of the museum is a bronze statue of Teddy Roosevelt on his horse.
This is Jake Weiner. His family lives next door to us. On the way to the museum we saw these two "dudes" in front of the New York Historical Society...well, we just had to get a picture.
We thought the uniforms were very realistic, but commented how these two guys really fit the part...as well as their uniform.
(Right) Chevy's Mexican Restaurant. While we had initially set reservations for a different restaurant, this turned out to be a good experience. Plus they were able to accomodate 8 people. L-R Steph (Mike's business partner), Mike, Terry and Elizabeth.
