PIECING TOGETHER OUR FAMILY HISTORY
There's an endless supply of records to search. Censuses, military records and vital records are available for our research, and finding "relatives" seems to be a monthly affiar. But this can be overwhelming - so many names, and almost "all" were "new" to us.
So, Tim decided to create the chart on your left to put all these names together (Smith side). If you want a better view, you can click on it to enlarge.
WHAT CAN THIS CHART TELL US?
You never know which nugget of information will identify a potential "cousin". The chart on your left shows the family names associated with our Greenan family line.Some of the ways we connected our families include:
- Obituaries.
- Birth and baptismal records.
- Ancestry.com and other similar genealogical tools.
- Newspaper articles.
- Census information (seeing grandchildren, nephews or wards living with family members)
