Eureka, South Dakota
In August it's hot, and in winter it was cold. It was a place of extremes,
or as the guidebook says, "land of infinite variety". Eureka isn't on the
way to anywhere...its a place you pick to go. There is still one habit
that we all do - we drive fast to get there...but once there, we automatically
slow down to 15 mph, much as we always had done before.
