In April 2004, Elizabeth and I met up with Katie and a three of her friends in Peniscola, Spain.  Peniscola is a typical Mediterranean beach resort, and we visited this resort just a few weeks before the peak season began.  The people were friendly, the food was excellent, and we walked all over.  The most difficult part was the language barrier, but most people understand English (or basic phrases).
