One of the things I've learned since starting this project is that we all should label our pictures, such that we know who is on each photograph. As people change in the "looks" over the years, it is sometimes difficult to determine who is actually in the picture. This section contains a number of photographs which tell the Smith story between approximately 1910 and 1955. Many of the photographs are typical found in family albums - vacations, relatives, friends, and family gatherings.
| Family Gathering | This appears to be in Stickney where the proud parents are showing off their babies | Robbie Fox Baby Pictures | Aunt Mildred, Robert (Robbie) Fox, Frank and Eleanor are the stars in these photos |
| John Smith family | Photos of taken before 1956. Some new wedding photos, and many with mom, dad and their twin boys | Hunting & Fishing | "Outdoor life" played a big part of the Stickney family. Everyone got into hunting and fishing. |
| California | Mildred and Mary Cecile made their way west to California. As you will see, both were "dapper dressers". | Baby Mary Cecile | Many photos of "baby" Mary Cecile. Some early childhood pictures, as well. |
| The Stickney Family | Most of the pictures were taken around Stickney. Several pictures show Stickney in its early years | Family Vacations | Every family takes them, and the Stickney Smiths were no exception. Come join the travels |
| At the Post Office | Bill Smith at the post office in 1945. He was 64 and most likely the following year he retired. | California (page 2) | Always considered a second page. but most didn't realize these photos were there. |
| Grand Canyon | Family vacation in the Grand Canyon | 1940s Family photos | Miscellaneous photos |
| 1930s & 1940s | A mixture of photos in Stickney, SD. Early John Smith photos, his parents and siblings. | Mary Cecile 20th century photo album | Additional photos added in 2010 (most of these were added in 2005) |
