We will not have a regular publishing schedule for the remainder of the summer. It is our intention to resume our weekly publishing schedule after Labor Day.
We will definitely publish the photos and stories associated with the Ryan Reunion and Smith Reunion. And if there are photos of vacations that people would like to send our way, we will publish those as well. This "down-time" will allow us to clean up this site and finish several research projects underway.
In the meantime, there are hundreds of pages in this site that you might want to relook at again. We have found ourselves looking at these older pages time and again, and occasionally we have found new clues to our families history.
Barb may be interested...these folks trace their lineage to a group of Kintons from Virginia...wonder if Mike is related....

This is a hog farm which was on the farm next door. It holds 8000 pigs, but there really isn't an odor. The methane gas the pigs generate is constantly burning, and the state is measuring these flames, and if it consistently burns, this farmer will be selling the excess energy to the power grid. click to enlarge.
