College Days - 1940s

The documents tell stories about John Smith's experience in Boston (Harvard) and Yankton College. He was on the basketball team (see picture) at Yankton and was active in college life (President of the Student Body in his Senior Year). While in Boston he attended legal seminars and went to "Broadway Shows". We also know where he lived in Boston (see address on envelope), but most intriguing is a letter to "Captain John Smith" when he was still in High School. Was this a sign of things to come?
