Morning Pleasant. My Cousin Peter came for me and went to Edenburough and took in.

Sun Shine morning. Went to the Cow Fair in Edinburh Some fine Cattle sold for $120.00 43 S. Per Hun weight from 38 S to 43 S live weight.

Portobello Scotland
July 22nd 1908
Went up to Edinburgh and Visited the Castle and met James Brown of Chamberlain S. Dak. It was a surprise and went to Holy Rod Chapple that is Mary Queen of Scots Church

The roof fell in but other wise in good repare
Mary Queen was put to death in the year 1558 it is a sad thing to be put to death for the faith our Fathers.
