Tim's Top 10

Over the past four years we have collected a lot of family stories and photos.  But the most memorable include the following 10 things:

1.  Irish John Smith story - this started it all
2.  Pictures of the Turgeon family - first stuff sent to us from people outside our immediate family (other than Mary Rita)
3.  Solved problem of School Hill
4.  Irish John's baptismal record in Aughabog parish - first record found for relative outside of America
5.  Mary Rita's Ryan family history.
6.  Irish John's travelogue.  We connected with other Irish and New York relatives based on this information.
7.  Connecting James Ryan descendants with Batt Ryan descendants.  This was memorable because it was the first cousins contacted outside of the Batt Ryan family line. Other family contacts were also memorable.
8.  Connecting with the Scottish Smyth line and getting information about this family line.
9.  All the family histories submitted to the website that have added so much to our knowledge of family.
10.  All the old pictures so we could finally put a face to a name in old records.

First photograph published.  October-24-2004 at 12:18 am...taken a "few years and pounds" ago. Top L-R: V.J., Tim, Barb, Terry, Wendy, Merida. Bottom L-R: Ann, Steve.  One of the first pages we published was "aboutme".  This shows what one of our initial pages looked like - obviously it has gotten better over the years.  (note that the date changes but the actual page has not been altered since January 2005.

First story published was a personal history when Tim and Terry were 3 years old.  Its still labeled "new page 1" and was published along with our first set of photographs.  In addition to saving our family photos, we also wanted to save personal stories that we have "told over and over."

Have a holiday experience that you want to share?  Send them our way and we'll share with the rest of the family...

Thank you

We want to thank everyone who has helped us with making this website what it is today.   The vast amount of content on this site is family contributed, and helps us keep this site "alive and active."  Thank you.
